About Me
My name is Rachel Wolff (she/her) and I am a licensed clinical therapist.
My journey in the mental health field extends back many years. Through various volunteer and internship opportunities, I learned quickly about my passion for helping others. I received a Bachelors degree from Franklin & Marshall College where I majored in Psychology and then took a gap year to serve as an AmeriCorps member. From there, I went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania for graduate school and earned a Masters in Social Work.
Over the past several years, I have provided mental health services in schools, community mental health agencies, and outpatient practices. I have had the pleasure of meeting clients of diverse ages, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and have treated clients with a range of psychological concerns. I currently practice in an office in East Falls, Philadelphia and continue to enjoy working with adolescents, college students, and adults.

What’s behind the name “Flow”?
The word “Flow” holds 2 personal meanings for me. The first is that Flow spelled backwards is wolf and while it’s missing one F, I take a lot of pride in my family name (Wolff) and have always had the idea to name my business Flow!
The second reason is the actual meaning behind it. Flow is a mental state of deep focus and immersion in an activity, where a person feels fully engaged, performs at their best, and loses track of time. Similar to mindfulness, it promotes presence and concentration, making it highly beneficial for mental health. There are many ways to take care of yourself and enter a flow state, and therapy can help you identify and prioritize these experiences to live a healthier, more balanced life.
