Payment

Rates

All therapy sessions last 45-50 minutes and my fee is $150 per session. Payment is due at the time of service and can be discussed during a phone consultation. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who are unable to pay my full fee.

All fees are due at the time of service and I require a credit card on file for automatic payments. I accept majorDebit/Credit Cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account Cards (FSA).

*Weekly sessions are highly recommended or at least for the first 4 weeks of treatment. Minimum session frequency at beginning of treatment is bi-weekly (or every other week).

Payment Options

I believe mental health treatment should be accessible and affordable. See below for all of the options to cover the costs of therapy:

• Private pay - out-of-pocket payments with superbills (or itemized receipts)

• Sliding scale rate

• Lyra - Lyra is an Employee-Assistance Program (EAP) that helps employers of certain companies covers the cost of therapy sessions. Click here to see if you are eligible through your employer

• VCAP - I am a registered VCAP provider with Pennsylvania’s Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP) program. VCAP is a state-run resource designed to help victims and their families through the emotional and physical aftermath of a crime or sexual assault by helping cover the costs of mental health treatment services. If you experienced a sexual trauma in Pennsylvania, you are eligible for VCAP funding. Click here to find out more information

Insurance

I do not accept insurance at this time. Upon request, I provide monthly superbills (itemized receipts of paid services) to submit to your insurance provider for out of network claims reimbursement.
*It is the client’s responsibility to determine if their health insurance provider offers such reimbursements.

To find out if your insurance company offer such reimbursements, I recommend calling your insurance company and asking the following questions:

  • Does my plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health services?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many therapy sessions I can have
per calendar year? If so, what is this number?

  • Is there any other information I will need to receive reimbursements,
such as a written letter of approval from my primary care physician?
